Effective Date: October 14, 2026
Neuromorphic Hardware Co-Design Studio is a Windows engineering application developed and provided by Hangzhou Xishang Technology Co., Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the application.
1. Information We Process
Account and Authentication Information
If you create or use an account, the application may process limited account information such as your email address, user identifier, authentication status, product entitlement, and application-access level.
Account authentication and entitlement-related backend services may be provided through Supabase. Password authentication is handled by the authentication provider; we do not intentionally store your password in plaintext.
License and Purchase Information
Neuromorphic Hardware Co-Design Studio may use Microsoft Store licensing to verify ownership of paid features, restore a prior purchase, or enable a Pro entitlement. Microsoft processes payment and Microsoft-account information under its own policies.
We do not directly receive or store your full credit-card number, bank details, or Microsoft account password.
2. Device and Authorization Information
Where device authorization is enabled, the application may process limited device or authorization records needed to provide licensed access, enforce applicable device limits, support offline authorization, prevent abuse, and restore purchased features.
These records are used for licensing and security purposes and are not used for advertising profiling.
3. Imported Device and Experimental Data
The application can import scientific and engineering data used for neuromorphic hardware analysis, including device I–V curves, conductance measurements, pulse-response data, retention, endurance, energy, noise, device variation, and related experimental data.
During normal solver workflows, user-imported datasets are designed to be processed locally on the user's Windows computer.
We do not intentionally upload the contents of imported experimental datasets to our servers as part of normal device fitting, crossbar analysis, SNN simulation, variation studies, Pareto analysis, or report generation.
4. Generated Models, Metrics, and Reports
The application may generate fitted device models, neuron/synapse/crossbar results, SNN metrics, accuracy, latency, power, throughput, TOPS/W, area, yield, noise/variation results, optimization outputs, plots, and reports.
These outputs are normally generated and stored locally in user-selected project or export locations. We do not automatically collect generated engineering reports.
5. Optional AI or Agent Features
Neuromorphic Hardware Co-Design Studio may include optional AI-assisted or agent-style workflows that help plan analyses, select tools, interpret solver output, compare candidates, or draft reports.
Deterministic engineering solvers remain separate from AI-generated text. The software is designed so that engineering values come from the underlying solver or user data rather than from invented AI values.
If you choose to connect an external AI provider, information you intentionally send through that integration may be processed by the selected third-party provider under its own privacy terms. Do not send confidential or restricted information to an external provider unless you are authorized to do so.
6. Local Storage
The application may store settings, project files, imported-data references, fitted-model parameters, saved experiments, generated plots, exports, cached authorization information, and session information locally on the user's computer.
Local files remain under the user's control and can generally be deleted through the application, Windows settings, or the applicable project folders.
7. How We Use Information
- Authenticate users and maintain account access
- Verify and restore Microsoft Store entitlements
- Operate Free and paid features
- Maintain licensing and device authorization
- Provide customer support
- Diagnose account, licensing, or application problems
- Protect the application and related services from abuse
We do not sell personal information.
8. Analytics and Advertising
The application does not include third-party advertising and does not intentionally use imported scientific data for advertising or behavioral profiling.
9. Third-Party Services
- Supabase may be used for authentication and entitlement-related backend services.
- Microsoft Store may be used for application distribution, paid add-ons, purchase verification, and licensing.
- Optional AI providers are used only when the user chooses to connect or invoke them.
10. Data Retention and Security
Account, entitlement, and device-authorization information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain the account, provide purchased access, restore entitlements, resolve support issues, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no computer system or internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. User Rights and Requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information associated with your account. Some transaction, security, anti-fraud, or entitlement records may need to be retained where legally or operationally necessary.
12. Engineering Disclaimer
Neuromorphic Hardware Co-Design Studio is intended for research, education, design exploration, and engineering analysis. Users are responsible for independently validating important results before relying on them for fabrication, safety-critical decisions, regulated applications, or commercial deployment.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the application, its services, integrations, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date.
